In 1939 the greatest authors of the 20th Century gathered every Tuesday to discuss their latest writing projects. Early works of Tolkien's "Lord of the Rings" and C.S. Lewis' "Out of the Silent Planet" were first read at inklings meetings.
The group has disbanded, but the spirit lives on in Inklings 2.0, the place on the web where Creative Minds can gather and hang out.
